Making a Difference
California Dental Educators is a dental assisting educational institution that offers entry level, advanced skills courses, and continuing education aimed at students looking for a rewarding career in dentistry. Providing professional development in an inclusive and collaborative environment is a primary focus for all faculty members; as well as promoting the passion we share with all individuals in the oral healthcare field.
Cindy Weideman, DDS
Dr. Cindy Weideman is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her professional accomplishments include the acceptance into the American College of Dentists Fellowship for outstanding ethics and the completion of her business management education at the Kellogg School of Management’s Executive MBA Program for Dentists.

Her professional commitment is displayed through her active membership in several national and state dental organizations. She has created nationally utilized educational resources about infant oral health, educational programs for parents and patients, and published research on pediatric bruxism. Dr. Cindy also enjoys working with community partners to enhance dental services for pediatric and adult populations.

Dr. Cindy was introduced into dentistry at a very young age and is committed to continuing the legacy today. She grew up in her father’s pediatric dental office, met her husband in dental school, and now has a daughter who will be graduating from dental school this May. Outside of the dental profession, she looks forward to spending time with her family, hiking with her dogs, and designing living spaces.

With over 30 years of experience, she has had the opportunity to evaluate the community’s need for trained dental professionals. Her passion for teaching has inspired her to create California Dental Educators, an organization devoted to providing quality education to those who enjoy dentistry.
